Thinking back... I'm pretty sure it was these two who were too hot for the ice which is probably why it was melting on us! When I first met Breauna and Greg I knew they would be PERFECT for this blissful, artistic, yet epic location. Not only because they have more chemistry than most couples have in a lifetime, but because it took a certain... "coolness" to be able to trust someone they had never met before and walk out onto a cracking, melting lake with me. But they did it!! Even though all of our entrance points were completely melted besides a 1 foot area we had to jump across and every once in a while throughout the shoot you'd hear (and feel) and deep crack under your feet, WE PREVAILED! I love a cool couple who's wiling to be adventurous with me. Because in the end, we made magic on that ice!! And can we talk about the cattails at the lakes edge...? OMG. Nevermind the fact I may or may not still have little puffs of whatever stuck to my pants and jacket, these two at dusk could have sent me into a coma of gorgeousness overload. CAN NOT WAIT to photograph their wedding!!!!

![]() When the cute girl you used to babysit grows up, its like entering the twilight zone when she announces she's getting married! WHAT?! But within the first 2 minutes of meeting Ethan, I knew he was just perfect for her. And by the end, if anything was in the twilight zone, it was this ridiculously amazing location #amiright ????? So happy for these two and what their future children might look like :)
I don't mean to brag, but do I have the most gorgeous cousin or what? I know, she looks exactly like me too! (I wish...) Here are some blissful engagements from a drainage ditch near my house (talk about finding a diamond in the rough!) Beautiful location, you'd have no idea their feet were completely muddy and a busy road was just 50 ft away. I love couples who are daring and trust me! For their bridals, I was a little more cautious of the location. Didn't really want to ruin her dress before the wedding!... this one was fun though because they chose to do a "first look" which I LOVE! It allowed them the opportunity to preserve seeing each other for the first time on camera, It was also so advantageous to get the photos done ahead of time instead of the day of when EVERYTHING else is going on. Oh and of course then they were able to have bridals printed for the reception! Win win win! .Engagements. |
